Yesterday was tax day and this year long lines at the post office were not the most notable large gatherings of people. Across the Nation thousands if not hundreds of thousands or people came together to protest in rallies called Tea Parties. If you remember your history in 1773 men stood up against the oppressive taxation of the British government by casting crates of tea into Boston Harbor by cover of darkness. Over two hundred and thirty years later people choose to exercise their constitutional right, given to them in part by those 1773 patriots, to protest peacefully in the light of day against their own government. 47% of Americans are Either Ignorant or Just Plain Stupid

There have been many times in my life that I’ve called into question the intelligence of the American people and after looking at the results of a recent Rasmussen poll I am forced to question it once again. According to the report only 53% of Americans believe that Capitalism is better than socialism with 20% thinking that socialism is better and 27% without a solid grasp of what they believe. OK, so the title is misleading.. It actually was a lot of fun. 7 miles through the harsh Black Creek Park braving toxic mud pics and crazed wild animals with my princess Buttercup in tow. We braved R.O.U.S.’s, angry villagers, and monstrous steeds with eyes like glimmering coals.

Trying out new things…

Ok, so I’ve been hearing a bit about this new program called Windows Live Writer, where apparently you can edit your blog and create new posts within the application itself.
All seems to be working so far, so consider this a test. I really like having a standalone application to do this
Along the same lines of trying out new things: over the past 8 years, we’ve had a president who, regardless of your thoughts on him, must admit that he was at least a courteous and respectful gentleman. You know what this means, of course… CHANGE
