Not Your Usual Friday…
by ZePuKa on Feb.06, 2009, under Movies & Music
Greetings from ZePuKa! Obviously, I’m not the usual poster for Fridays, but OhYo decided that he would slack off to take a skiing trip instead of writing a post, so you’re all stuck with the first substitute writer today! ^_^ As such, I hereby declare war if OhYo does not keep his promise to make a REAL post next week, after his virtually 3-week hiatus. (1 – Self-proclaimed ‘Gimme Day’; 2 – Explanation of ‘Gimme Day’ and Substitute writers; 3 – Substitute writer) Now with the pleasantry and formalities out of the way, let the real content commence!
I had a hard time deciding on what to write about, and thought of things from politics to the origins of head cheese. However, I’ve come to find that HT totally rocks at politics and thus my efforts in that area would be futile, and head cheese… While I might have the upper hand in that, I figured the first guest post shouldn’t be so… far fetched, ‘lest the idea of guest writers be shot down as a result. Therefore I decided to take a different approach; I tried to think what OhYo might post about, and then decided that I should write a post that OhYo would NEVER do. And to be quite honest, with all the reviews Stretch does, I’m dissapointed that this genre has not yet been seen on Zomgee! Henceforth, I give you the first. Ever. MUSIC REVIEW. (continue reading…)
What is a tax cut?
by HT on Feb.04, 2009, under News & Politics
A lot of talk has been made recently about the economic “stimulus” plan that President Obama and the democrats have proposed. One of the things you’ll hear is that a large portion of the bill, about $275 Billion worth, is going to include tax cuts for 95% of Americans. If you have a good memory, which most Americans don’t, you’ll remember that President Oboma promised tax cuts to 95% of Americans on the campaign trail and that this policy helped him gain support across the country. What Senator McCain failed to articulate a few months ago and what the media is failing to indicate now is that a great portion of these so called “tax cuts” aren’t really tax cuts at all.
Return of the Commercials – 2009 edition
by Dan on Feb.02, 2009, under Humor, Sports
Even though I missed the majority of the Super Bowl, I did happen to catch the ending (the best part) and a few commercials along the way and thanks to the evil, alien-run empire, I was able to see them all.. A year ago I posted my top 10. This year I’m going to mix it up a little…

Gimmy Day
by OhYo on Jan.30, 2009, under Uncategorized
Ever like how when you’re playing a game, and someone decides to make up a crazy house-rule that helps them specifically? I do, especially when it’s me making it; it’s what I’m about to do right now. It’s even better when the rule is reciprocal, which is bonus. This will certainly help my case (because of my lack of post last week) and perhaps others in the future…
The Zomgee Bubble
by HT on Jan.28, 2009, under Humor, News & Politics, satire
During the past year Zomgee.com has had fairly steady posting and while we may not have updated as frequently as some may have preferred, the site was at least consistent. At the end of 2008 everything changed and the evil CEOs of Zomgee decided to get greedy and push for more and more posting. Expectations were set high, and the post volume increased likewise. The greed could only be fueled for so long and I’m afraid that over the last week we may have seen the Zomgee bubble burst. (continue reading…)
