Well at long last, the desk is done and slowly, bits and pieces of it are filtering into my room to be assembled. Right now I’m installing Vista and drivers on the computer. Already I can tell that this is going to be one wicked setup. The downside is that I was a bit short sighted and only realized once I brought the front in…

I don’t have room for it.

This is the back side (rather, front) of the desk. You can see the cutouts for 4 case fans.

Here is another shot of the console. You can see where the DVD drives and such are. Also notice that I didn't paint the inside of the side panels. Meh.

Here's the completed desk. Doesn't look too shabby if you ask me.

So at this point I can either take the couch out of my room or put up with a little bit less space. I can’t wait to get this reassembled and in 100% operating status.

Ok, so I could go the entire series without putting in a plug for myself. Yeah, this was fun to build and I would totally do it again for someone else if the price was right.
